YANMAR
YANMAR introduced two new engines at bauma 2019, which include an important step in the fuel diversification of industrial engines. These new models are the result of their over three decades of experience with gas engines. Backed up by YANMAR’s in-depth knowledge and expertise in diesel technology, a new proprietary gas combustion system has been developed to offer the highest possible efficiency.
As gas engines are inherently quieter than diesel engines, they lend themselves well to sensitive areas where noise could be an issue. Furthermore, in terms of exhaust emissions perspective, LPG emits far less sooty particulate matter (PM), making them ideal for working in enclosed areas. Short-Block (SB) Engine
The SB Engine includes a complete rotating assembly (crank, rods, pistons, etc.). Please note that short blocks are only sold through the YANMAR America Parts Department.
Head-Block-Crank (HBC) Engine
The HBC Engine includes SB with installed head assembly (valve-train and no rockers). In addition, an oil sump can be included upon the customer’s request. Please note that HBCs are sold as reman or new replacements at our discretion.
3/4 (75% Complete) Engine
Our 3/4 engines are complete, excluding the fan, flywheel, flywheel housing, non-turbo exhaust manifold, starter, alternator, and ancillary parts. It is available as a new replacement or reman. Contact our parts department today to request a quote.
